Happy Friday to everyone!
I hope you had a great week despite this awful cold. We have kept the classroom nice and hot and recess inside. Thank you for sending well bundled kids who have been super positive and hardworking in class this week! Students have finished their social studies based essays while beginning to plan for our Grade 4 store. In reading and writing, students have enhanced their research abilities through library searches and book selection. In science we have finished off our unit on shaping the Earth - test next week on Wednesday! Finally in Math we have been exploring exponents. All great fun! Next week we will have our first of two jeoparbee days for the year. On Tuesday, students will be testing their knowledge of what they have studied so far in Grade 4. Students should prepare by reviewing the vocabulary words they have been given. You can do it! Also, don't forget about Library Day on Thursday! It's going to be an event filled week. Yay! Mr. Baker
